Living with autoimmune diseases and Lichen Sclerosis

For 5 days I’ve been in so much pain through the Lichen Sclerosis. It literally felt like I had broken glass inside me and around my nether regions and then pulled along a glass road. Yesterday morning I was crying with the pain. Even sitting down keeping still didn’t help. I asked my husband to help me in the bath. We deciced we would put Healsporin in the bath, what a game changer, it’s used for psoriasis and Eczema. In getting in the bath it was bliss, water on its own is too harsh, but with the healsporin it was bliss. Has the warm water allowed the healsporin to work its magic I just rested in the bath. For half and hour I laid there enjoying no pain.

In getting out of the bath, the feeling of being uncomfortable came back but a lot lot less. I used Estriol 0.1% cream and rubbed the Clobetasol 0.05% ointment into my nether regions.

Yesterday I felt the most comfortable I had for a week. Bedtime I washed with the Dermol 500 lotion (Dermal Laboratories Ltd) and then put some Epimax ointment (Aspire Pharma Ltd) as directed by my specialist. Through out the night I felt a few times uncomfortable, but the sever itching and glass feel a lot less.
